Bridie’s Farm Open Day 22nd September 2024
Our first public Open Day took place on Autumn Equinox (22nd of September 2024) and was a great occasion of collaboration and celebration of Bridie’s Farm so far. Even the abundant rainclouds did not dampen spirits! The wet weather eventually let up in the afternoon, and we saw in the region of 70 people attend. With thanks to the extended team and all the exhibitors who braved the elements to join us. A communal making of delicious Stone Soup to share, storytelling, veg printing, meditation in our new yurt, music, eco-sculpture, and demonstrations of natural wool dying, loom weaving and biochar. We had some fantastic efforts for the ‘Everything Glastonbury’ themed Scarecrows, with a ‘live’ worthy winner who turned up on the day in full scarecrow outfit! Check out socials for pics and reels of the event.
