Donations made through this website or any purchases of events or other purchases from the online shop are made via PayPal, a third party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. This means Bridies Farm will not receive or store any of your financial information. If you are booking events, our service provider is Timely who also have their own secure and private data protection systems.
How we use this data
The data we gather in this way is used to improve our website for the future, and specifically to:
- Fulfil orders including course bookings through our online ticket service and shop
- Contact you in response to a specific enquiry
- Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us
- Send you communications which you have requested in the form of our e-news. This may include the latest news from The Farm and events and other community activities or campaigns we’re supporting, plus occasional requests for feedback.
We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.
Data that has been gathered for the purpose of fulfilling an order in our online shop is only held for the period of time needed to complete and reconcile the order, so is deleted within 12 weeks of collection.
Who has access to your information?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third party service providers for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example PayPal to process payments, Timely for managing event bookings and Zoho Campaigns to send you mailings). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes.
Zoho Campaigns
Our e-news are sent using Zoho Campaigns, an email marketing service. Your email address will be transferred to and stored with Zoho Campaigns only to allow us to send you these emails, and to track interactions (e.g. open rates). PayPal
Donations or payments via our online shop are made via PayPal, a third party payment processor, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. This means Bridie’s Farm will not receive or store any of your financial information. Event and course bookings are made via Timely, an event management platform. Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. We follow stringent procedures to ensure we work with all personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with TLS encryption. Encryption makes it difficult for unauthorised people to view information travelling between computers.
