Community Farms offer a pathway to more stable, small scale local food production that doesn’t cost the earth. We are active supporters of the localism movement and have seen countless examples to evidence that the best and easiest way to support communities to thrive is by bringing food growing back into the heart of community life.
“The recovery of the people is tied to the recovery of food. Since food itself is medicine – not only for the body but also for the soul and the spiritual connection to history, ancestors, and the land.” – Winona LaDuke
Glastonbury’s Food and Regenerative Farming Centre will dramatically increase the capacity for the town to be food resilient on a 20 acre site. Including polytunnels, greenhouses, crops and a variety of community and nature supportive rewilding and foraging areas whilst developing seasonal workshops and courses, enabling volunteers and visitors to go really green and grow at home.
