We welcomed King’s Trust students from Strode College last month as part of their volunteering commitment to local community projects.
The students walked from their base in Street and spent 5 days at Bridie’s Farm taking part in various activities including:
Creating a new kitchen garden bed and sowing 1000+ seeds
Laying over 40m of new woodchip paths
Potting 85 tree saplings and planting over 40 trees
Soil and compost testing
Enjoying over 120+ hours of combined outdoor time in nature
We look forward to welcoming more groups of students in the near future.
