An uncertain time for Bridie’s Farm

Many of you will have seen the news coverage and speculation online regarding The Life Factory at the Red Brick Building, and indeed more recently our Food & Regenerative Farming Centre and Bridie’s Farm. We are in troubled circumstances and facing an uncertain future following the fall out of The Life Factory and subsequent cessation of all grant funding from Somerset Council through Glastonbury Town Deal with the Red Brick Building. This leaves us in a highly vulnerable situation, particularly regarding land ownership at the Bridie’s Farm site and employment for the project team. We are exploring all opportunities to secure the project and will keep you updated in the New Year. Please follow the links below to our most recent statements and story so far on our blog page.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all of you who have given such support and encouragement, commitment and investment in volunteering time, and everything you have brought to the land so far and we hope very much to continue our work together in 2026 and beyond!

We know that Community Tuesdays and farm events have brought many of you together in joyful shared purpose and connection with the land.

If you would like to share your experience of visiting or volunteering at Bridie’s Farm, please feel free to send a few words to info@bridiesfarm.org.uk
