Big thanks to Carbon Aware Productions who have donated hundreds of trees to Bridie’s Farm for our tree planting season. This is hugely important to us here on the farm, not only because we LOVE TREES, but because trees are so important to everyone’s wellbeing.
Carbon Aware Productions draws funds out of film productions to invest in planting projects around the UK. They are teamed up with multiple independent planting partners and have funded the planting of over 36,000 trees to date. Criteria for planting is that the trees are native to the area & planted on formerly degraded land which would not have otherwise been used. They are driven by not only the carbon sequestering potential of the trees but also the benefit to biodiversity, communities & flood mitigation.
