Our first ever community build camps are taking place in July and August.
The Roundhouse Camps are residential community build camps held at Bridie’s Farm. During the 3–day (4-night) camps we will be creating the inner and outer henges, with potentially more bark stripping still to do & then installing the reciprocal roof! The camps will be facilitated by Bridie’s Farm Team & Adrian Leaman (Wholewoods). Our camps will have 15 people maximum (plus team) to ensure a safe teamwork environment.
50 locally sourced trees felled from the Joseph Clark Trust woodland will stand again as the henge and roof of the first ever community-built roundhouse in Glastonbury.
Cost: £60 per person (to include optional 4-night camping). 18+years only. Please ensure you have paid in advance as we CANNOT guarantee your place unless we have received monies before camp starts.
Camp Dates:
- Camp #1 from 13th-17th July. Camp #2 from 6th –10th August. Full details on website Events page.
- If not camping, you have the option to just attend for the 3 day build (14th, 15th, 16th July) or (7th, 8th, 9th August).
Bridie’s Farm CIC is the company responsible for the delivery of the Glastonbury Food & Regenerative Farming Centre project in partnership with the Red Brick Building Centre Ltd.
